Friend of the podcast Bryce Wilson is holding Raimifest, a celebration of all things Sam Raimi, on his blog from March 27th to April 2rd and we thought it’d be fun to contribute a podcast. We talk about the things that make Raimi a great director and break down all his films, from Evil Dead to Drag Me to Hell. Alright, we don’t “break down” For the Love of the Game so much as dismiss it outright, but it does give us an excuse to go on a tangent about Kevin Costner’s penis. We also take a scientific look at the meandering nature of duck vaginas, pin-point the exact moment Billy Bob Thornton started to suck and very nearly hold a debate on Bret Easton Ellis. It’s a little bit funny, a little scary and totally fucking awesome, kinda like a Sam Raimi movie.
And hey, if you don’t know who Sam Raimi is, listen up and stop walking the Earth sad, alone and Raimi-less.
