It’s that spooky time of year again! Tomorrow begins October, and just like last year, we’ve got 31 days of the macabre coming your way! Starting tomorrow, we’re going to cover the long history of horror games, starting with Haunted House on the Atari 2600. Most of the stalwarts from the On the Stick podcast, as well as our sister podcast, The Action Cast! will be contributing, plus a few spoooooky special guests.
Not all of the articles will be famous horror games, or even scary ones. They were all selected by the authors for different reasons. In fact, not even all of the games in the header will be represented here, but I’ll leave it to you to figure out which ones. There will also be a special Halloween episode of the podcast wherein we’ll discuss these games, and an extra spooky edition of Same Name, Different game.
